读的第一本40k系列小说，硬，画面感十足，简直能脑补电影。庞大的世界和非凡的时间跨度营造出史诗感的背景，渺小的视角又带来那种被碾压的宿命意味。战争场面和宇宙写的壮观而富有魅力，可惜阴谋和密谋这方面不够完善..上校和开头的角色那边基本没用到。在日后的观点来看这一切都像是“丑角”一样，荷鲁斯会反叛，被帝皇杀死，混沌混入人心......
