喜歡 The Pleasant Assassin and Other Cases of Dr. Basil Willing (Crippen & Landru Lost Classics) 的讀者還喜歡

盡管質量有些良莠不齊，但是我還是願意打上四星。第一篇雖然以前讀過同名長篇，但我還是願意為這個短篇營造的氣氛打上五星。第二篇的連續死亡事件的解答也很精彩。簡介：【http://www.douban.com/note/518263053/】

Lost Classics 8th,總體頗有水準的集子，類型也比較多樣，讓我想到瞭布蘭德的那本短篇集，但麥剋洛伊更注重氛圍塑造。後來擴展為長篇的第一篇，格局稍顯宏大的《The Singing Diamonds》，是我最喜歡的兩篇，部分篇目推理較弱，但瑕不掩瑜，不枉一讀。
