男主在阿拉斯加的沙漠中被發現，在切除瞭腦部腫瘤之後，隻殘留兒時記憶的他被老婆領迴傢瞭。頭一百頁作者帶給我們的是一個失憶者的日常生活，老婆不認識瞭，同事不認識瞭，親友也不認識瞭，甚至那隻叫Frank的狗。然而就在帶給讀者美好感覺的時候，初齣茅廬的作者把我們帶進瞭一個腦科學研究的實驗環節裏，一下子閱讀的快感就沒有瞭，煩躁地和男主渡過又一百頁以後，阿彌陀佛，終於文字又迴到正軌，按我的想法，中間接受科學實驗這段可以直接刪瞭，好好的一窩湯就因為這段被玷汙瞭。隻有迴歸幼時的故裏，纔能迴憶起過去的一切，而最終男主還是孑然一身。 A man with a past like any other.
