评分敘述主綫是個體故事框架，跳躍且流暢。非牛津英語看起來卻絲毫不費力。可以和《二馬》互作對照。
评分sharp and witty indeed. Particularly fond of the ending part when all the threads anchor in Moses's room. Also brilliant is the language, giving me exactly the blue sentiment from Invisible Man.

评分要學英文的不用讀這本，裏麵大篇大篇“錯誤英文”。要研究後殖民英語文學的，這是個可讀性的範例。
