著者简介

哈金（Ha Jin）

本名金雪飞，1956年生于辽宁省，曾在中国人民解放军中服役五年。1982年毕业于黑龙江大学英语系，在校主攻英美文学，1984年获山东大学英美文学硕士学位。1985年赴美留学，并于1992年获布兰迪斯大学（Brandeis University）博士学位。现任教于美国波士顿大学（Boston University）。

1996年，获“弗兰纳里·奥康纳小说奖”（《小镇奇人异事》）

1997年，获“海明威基金会/笔会奖”（《好兵》）

1999年，获“美国国家图书奖”（《等待》）

2000年，获“笔会/福克纳奖”（《等待》）

2002年，获汤森德小说奖（《新郎》）

2004年，《纽约时报》十大好书（《战废品》）

2005年，获“笔会/福克纳奖”（《战废品》）

2006年，获“美国艺术与科学研究院会员”称号

Simple as the wording and structure of Waiting seems, the masterpiece, written with such frankness and sincerity, has deeply touched the readers through its resurrection of the realism rarely found today.
