在大二发现woody allen的电影他的幽默开启了我对美国文化最直接的向往，也和我现在听new orleans jazz，学习上台讲comedy有直接关系。由于metoo 的风声很大他近些年饱受困扰，我没有办法考证真正发生了什么。但是还在第一时间买了这本书，因为它仍然是我最喜欢的美国导演。客观来讲，感觉他的文笔很syrupy，有时严肃严肃但更多是blase，然而有很多瞬间会不经意间流出他的创作出处，是对影迷一大馈赠

基本是他私生活内容一次公开性阐述，其他部分略微无趣，毕竟很多事情在他之前访谈和撰稿里他都写得很多。就私生活这块内容似乎也是他给外界释放的一种信号，即便有狡辩嫌疑，但并不能借用不公开出版而剥夺他人言论自由，这也是他对自己态度的体现。至于这块内容读起来确实蛮五味杂陈的，期待后续庭审进展，用专业（目前唯一可行）的方式来给这个家庭定夺一个发展，一个结果。3.5

Too rational for an irrational man. 如果说谈论自己电影的部分只是轻微无聊，那么占据了全书四分之一的关于宋宜事件的辩解简直堪称难以忍受了，看到原本在我心中毫无道德感、虚无到了极点的人开始反复强调do the right thing，空虚感压倒了我。当然了，这不是《雕刻时光》，也不是《电影书写札记》，伍迪艾伦永远不会写那样的书，关于他你应该感兴趣的东西全部都在他的电影里了，而在他对自己人生的回顾里，最重要的东西远不是所拍过的电影，永远只是宋宜。
