The Practice of History in Africa offers a history of African historiography from an African perspective. 著者简介

埃比戈贝里·乔·阿拉戈尼日利亚历史学家，1973年被评为尼日利亚拉各斯大学历史学教授，曾任尼日利亚伊巴丹大学第一副校长，在其50多年的学术生涯中著作颇丰，对非洲历史和非洲史学都有深入的研究。

张忠祥，历史学博士，上海师范大学人文与传播学院历史系教授，博士生导师，教育部“区域和国别研究（培育）基地”——上海师范大学非洲研究中心副主任。研究领域主要有中非关系、中国对非洲外交、非洲历史等。发表学术论文50余篇，出版专著3部，合著（译）3部。主持国家社科基金重点项目1项，完成省部级科研项目5项，两次获得省部级科研奖励。
