"Finis book. which contains over one hundred

magnificent colour photographs, is a pictorial

souvenir of the Federal Republic of Germany, or

West Germany.

Germany is now one of the wonu s great

economic powers. It is the home of the

"Wirtschaftswunder" the economic miracle-and

has become the wealthiest and technologically

most advanced country in Europe.

are beer festivals and music festivals, spas and

vineyards. And for those of a romantic disposition

there are castles of the Rhine, the mountains and

the fairytale palaces built by King Ludwig of

Bavaria.
