和New Yorker差不多。其實基本設定還挺好的。

我記得一個朋友跟我說過，德波頓最該死的地方其實隻是他的劍橋背景，還有有個posh的名字……這也從側麵注定他的文字再清新雋永，也永遠是端著架子的。作為一個科學追星的批判型粉絲，不得不指齣德波頓在錶達上的問題：顯然他是想延續18世紀Samuel Johnson式短小精煉的格言體，這樣的文字耐讀，卻在解決具體問題時難免顯得浮誇。尤其考慮到德波頓誌在讓哲學走齣廟堂接近公眾的努力，這樣的錶達方式會顯得過於out of touch。想到這點，我又不由狂妄地覺得”社會學的想象力“的重要性，一個接受過社會學專業訓練的作者完全有可能比德波頓做得更好，因為它同時賦予瞭作者在經驗世界中分析洞見和捕捉洞見的能力……
