within each of us lies a garden of
the heart
a place where God can plant, water,
cultivate and gently nurture a beautiful harvest of
character. But it is not just any harvest, it is a harvest
of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, meekness and self-control. Yes, He
plants and waters the fruit of the Spirit.
As we allow our hearts and minds to become
God s garden, we shall find that we will be blessed
beyond all expectation. Our lives will become filled
with His qualities, His attributes. The garden will
become like the Gardener. And that is God s greatest
desire -- for us to become like Him.
