誰說這本書主要是為瞭收藏，讀起來不方便，我到學校讀的都這麼輕鬆，插圖也很震撼，這本書適閤讀也適閤收藏。

可能偉大的作傢在創作生涯伊始就意識到總有一天要麵對個人與藝術上的死亡，而最偉大的方式很可能是沉浸其中。勒古恩大概比其他人潛得更深，所以在暮年，在一個探討生死的世界裏她給予主人公一場華麗的死亡，迴顧瞭他與地海的一生，而後，她自己與主人公共同踏上另一場冒險。無知如我，並不知道她並非是寫作後期臨時起意在地海裏創造瞭那場震撼的毀滅與新生，她還未瞥見地海世界時，在地海係列的開始——一個意識流短篇裏早已想好瞭一切。The Word of Unbinding到Firelight，兩篇意識流跨越幾十年遙相呼應，與作者的生命緊緊束在瞭一起。一個作傢如果可以用一生創作一部作品，最終極的呈現莫過於地海瞭。
