不十分relevant，當一個參考和情境知識。這裏的public space是物質與話語交疊的領域，因此書裏討論的話題比如BID中可以允許怎樣的活動、mormons可不可以買下一塊原來的公共空間（並潛在傳教）以及業主委員會可不可以給居民發傳單等問題都是空間、法律、管理、政策交織在一起的復雜問題。也正因為如此每一章節都有很多對美國憲法和相關判例的討論，因為不熟悉情境所以隻看瞭大概，這種寫法倒值得藉鑒。但讀瞭一半纔發現不是文集而是獨立的作品，可見全書的組織還是有點散。
