邁剋爾·赫茲菲爾德是世界著名的社會人類學傢，目前是哈佛大學人類學係資深教授。他齣版過超過十本以上專著，發錶論文100多篇。他的近期研究是以專書探討與民族誌影像紀錄曼榖的文化遺産曆史保存、以及義大利羅馬的中國城都市發展計畫。赫茲菲爾德教授同時還兼任哈佛大學都市計畫與設計學院、哈佛大學中中心泰國研究學程、哈佛大學當代希臘研究的榮譽教授，以及荷蘭亞洲研究中心文化遺産研究計畫資深顧問。連煦：中央民族大學人類學博士，現任教於首都師範大學外國語學院。
