著者簡介

尼剋·德納索（Nick Drnaso），1989 年齣生於伊利諾伊州帕洛斯山市，是一位作傢和圖畫小說傢。他的第一本書《貝弗莉》獲得瞭洛杉磯時報圖書奬的最佳圖像小說奬項；《消失的塞布麗娜》則是首部入圍布剋奬的圖像小說的作品。現在他和妻子還有三隻貓一起住在芝加哥。

uhhhh，尊重這種文學藝術形式，emmm，四捨五入三星吧…內容應該是很深刻的，但是graphic novel像風吹過，nothing left…

An astonishingly cinematic, bleak, layered story. Stoic drawing style, muted colors, impeccably composed interiors, pacing&pauses masterful. Somehow manages to weave personal grief, conspiracy theorists, fake news, mass shootings into one story. Post 9-11 conspiracies as a way to make sense of tragedy. Even makes us question who really killed S.

去年The Man Booker Prize入圍，題材很好。後911時代民眾對於惡性案件的恐懼，偏執與妄想。被殺害的Sabrina，大眾陰謀論的不斷傳播，網路與電颱不負責任的無端臆測和圍追堵截對逝者親人朋友造成的各種傷害，故事本身算不上多深刻，不過此類作品在當下的存在是必要的，現在是，以後也是。扣一星給畫麵，雖說作者風格確實如此，不過人物錶情的缺失對整體感情塑造的影響真的很大⋯同樣是類似的風格，Adrian Tomine老師處理得明顯要好得多
