目前讀到一百頁，RC這個文筆我真是服瞭，英文之美被他演繹到瞭極緻，而且老美馬後炮一點不遜色天朝，Ellen Dent 誇她女兒老公是這麼說的：他以後肯定能當總統。哈哈哈哈

整體依然極好，但感覺中間寫總統部分略弱

又把我耳朵聽齣繭瞭。Ron Chernow筆下Grant是凡人，

#典範式#的傳記。格蘭特作為軍事將領被低估，作為總統的存在感稀薄。不過，作為普通人，卻蠻可愛的。最逗的一段是講副官如何監督他戒酒。去世前，為瞭妻子生活能有保障，纔開始寫迴憶錄賺版稅。
