Over the course of several generations, the once mighty empire known as the United Republics of The Red Star slaughtered millions of it's own people by the order of a single man. The man was their leader, Imbohl, a mighty sorcerer whose insanity turned his people's Utopian dreams into a nightmarish scheme driven by the desire to create his own immortality. Haunted by the ghosts of their nation's tragic past, the Heroes of the Red Star discover the true nature of their nation's struggle, abandon their duties as soldiers of the Red Fleet, and embark upon a quest to liberate their people from Imbohl's dark legacy. The "Battle of Kar Dathra's Gate" is a fictionalization of the 1979 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. This unapologetic romantic saga utilizing the same 3-D modeling technology as today's best selling video games and animated features while heralding the dawn of a new era in visual storytelling.

Christian Gossett:
Internationally published as an artist and writer at the age of nineteen, Christian Gossett was one of the first designers hired by Lucasfilm Licensing to 'retro-design' the Star Wars galaxy in 1993. THE PHANTOM MENACE, the latest installment of the Star Wars saga, includes Gossett's work, in the form of Darth Maul's now-famous 'double-edged lightsabre'.
Gossett's design and writing have influenced artists in the videogame industry as well. When Activision announced that Bruce Willis would star in their CD-Rom game APOCALYPSE for the Sony Playstation, it was Gossett who was called upon to design the main characters and wrote what would be the vital draft of the script, giving Bruce's dialogue its necessary final touches. With Activision's next Playstation title, PITFALL 3D, starring cult-film hero Bruce Campbell, Gossett performed the same duties as he did for APOCALYPSE, and still found time to write, co-direct and draw nine minutes of additional story animation (hidden within the game and accessible via cheatcode: PITFALLCOMIC)
His latest project, The Red Star, promises to be the culmination of ten years of experience at the forefront of his field. An epic mythology based on the Cold War, The Red Star follows the quest of Marcus Antares as he labors to free his nation from the vile legacy of Imbohl, the sorceror whose insanity turned an entire nation's Utopian dreams into nightmarish tragedy.
BRADLEY KAYL:
Brad Kayl graduated from CSUN as a member of the Golden Key National Honors Society. Although he studied Environmental Biology, Kayl used the degree for a less than a month (doing a coyote and bobcat tracking survey), before he left the field—no pun intended—to pursue a lifelong interest in writing. He has been published in NoHo News, Tarzana Herald, Chainsaw Orgasms (Milestone Press) and Geppo Haiku Journal; he currently co-writes THE RED STAR.
Kayl was also a founding member of Engineering Management Career Consultants (EMC2), recruiting senior executives for major corporations in the energy sector. His experience with business formation is a welcome addition to Archangel Studios, LLC.
