The Twenty-third Psalm is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and best-loved religious devotions of all time. In The Lord is My Shepherd Christopher Webber's words and Preston McDaniels's delightful illustrations make the Psalm more accessible for pre-schoolers and early readers. This third book in Morehouse's popular series, Psalms for Children, provides texts of the Psalms that are less abstract than the versions we commonly read in the Bible. While remaining true to the original meaning, Christopher Webber gently rewrites the Psalms using words and images that children ages 3-7 can understand, so that they can delight in God's promises and comforts as well as adults.
