还是停不下来那种，好看，但没必要那么多视角。

3.6星。多视角不是不可以，用得好，那场景切换频繁也算特点，但Paula的功力还是浅了些，似乎是四处挖小洞，埋线索，但坑都不深，甚至让人觉得潦草，读起来累。虽然讲的是凶杀案，但出场的几乎个个都是边缘人，也是很不高明的人物设定了。勉强给到4星是因为，这本书很适合培养英文语感，对话多，口语写作，有一些不错的细节描写。简单讲，Into the Water是完整的作品，但并不优秀。

作者擅长用婚外情或者不太被人接受的感情引起冲突并掺杂轻暴力的原则没有变,从上本到这本,变化的只是背景-从火车到一条可怕的河流-很多人死在这里(作者煞有介事地编了不同年代的好几个故事,可惜读起来都不带感...)自杀还是他杀的悬念撑到最后却变成了一对儿父子互相保护的家庭剧...

多视角有点拖沓。人物关系过于扭曲复杂。不过最后几个关键人物对峙的章节很有张力，能感受到紧张气氛。
