具体描述
A selection of fifteen fairy and folk tales, including "The Goose Girl", "The Bremen Town Band", "Puss in Boots", "Cinderella" and of course, "Rapunzel". What sets this book apart from other fairytale gift books is that the stories have been translated from the original German and French versions - they are not re-tellings - and they have therefore retained the remarkably vivid and sometimes strange quality that characterises these classic tales. Authentic and affecting, this book is startling, dramatic and otherworldly - a fascinating and engrossing read.
