具体描述
Every day, up to 100 species of animals become extinct, and each year this number grows. Scientists feel that more than forty thousand species of animals may die out each year. In Bobbie Kalman's new series, Earth's Endangered Animals, students will learn which animals are endangered and why, and what people are doing to help them. The focus of the series is to help children gain an appreciation of each animal's important role on Earth. Beautiful photographs and illustrations accompany the easy-to-read text.
