真的很喜欢看historical fiction。看了小说才知道了这个史上最惨烈的海难。早上看完一天都没缓过来。 一万多人最后只剩下了一千多。。 Fate is a hunter.

0414 从寒假开始看，终于看完了。期间多次姨母笑，这对战争时期的姐弟恋真滴甜蜜???? 总归是YA小说，有一些事件的转折和主人公的反应会觉得有些childish，但可以接受啦～ 喜欢是盔甲也是软肋，但我不care，我只想暴富。

Fate is a hunter.

陪女儿读的书。四个身份不同背景各异的年轻人，二战中很多人并不是很熟悉的一段故事。既有尘封往事，又有美好爱情，又有战争残酷，书甫一出版就获奖无数，成了米国中学生书单的必选之作。缺点是，或者说YA小说的特点是，人物有点扁平，情节过于浪漫。作者是立陶宛裔，可以说是在写家乡的故事。其实比起这本，更想读早些的Between Shades of Gray。

第一次了解Gustloff事件，在后记里作者也说明了当时并不止一艘船被击沉，其中还有一艘满载从集中营出来的犹太人的船只也沉没在Baltic……书中四个主角都有不同的背景，作者通过不同角色的切换讲述了整个故事，因为文字简单，读起来异常顺利，看完的感受就是，对于平民来说，战争就是残酷的……
