Neil Gaiman is the NEW YORK TIMES best-selling author of AMERICAN GODS and CORALINE. Among his many awards are the Eisner, Hugo, the Nebula, the World Fantasy and the Bram Stoker. Originally from England, Gaiman now lives in the United States.

风格精致的插画
评分看了奥德赛公会汉化版，封面跟这个不一样，而且是4册。画得非常漂亮，为书增色不少，女性人物就差点，女主角“星星”给画得很胖。故事情节比较经典，是讲一个少年为了青涩的爱外出冒险，成长，返乡，最后认识到自己真爱的故事。这样仍嫌太普通了点，盖曼顺手又给安了个勋爵（相当于王子吧）的头衔。故乡“石墙村”只是个起点，男主角返乡还了愿之后再也没有停留，而是毅然返回自己真正的归属“精灵仙境”继续人生的大冒险。有种海贼王式的热血。盖曼似乎很喜欢安排死人吐槽，在《美国众神》里也这么干过，很有意思。这次没有先看改编的电影，所以感觉比较好，不然如果电影拍得好的话估计看书就没感觉了。
