小说挺有味道的，写90年代一座70岁高龄的豪华老楼里代表社会各阶层、群体的人进进出出的生活，又在这里生活很久的破落老显贵zaki，有扎破了头皮挤进来的Malak、有被情人安排进来的Abd、也有看门者儿子的Taha，他们最后各有自己不同的结局，但没一个是我喜欢的，可能这就是现实主义批判小说？
