It takes readers from Irish bogs to a thunderstorm in Guanabara Bay to the basket of a hydrogen balloon 8,500 feet over Paris. And it captures the particular bent of mind--combining the Romantic love of Nature and the Enlightenment love of Reason--that allowed humanity to finally decipher the skies.

Peter Moore

1983年生於英國斯塔福德郡，入英國達勒姆大學修讀曆史及社會學。2010年起在倫敦城市大學講授創意寫作課程，2017年任牛津大學創意寫作碩士研究生導師。此外，他還著有《惡有惡報》（Damn His Blood），獲得各界廣泛贊譽。

張朋亮

西南政法大學外國語學院翻譯碩士。先後在齣版公司、能源企業、政府機構擔任過翻譯，譯有《全球化與澳門》《時間大劫案》等作品。
