很特彆,令人耳目一新的閱讀!感謝書友推薦,讓我早點下決心讀這本聽上去是我舒適區外的作品。Gray的現代版“科學怪人”,講述瞭一個醫生創造瞭一位擁有20多歲女性身體和嬰兒大腦的人。聽起來有點怪異嚇人吧?但其實作品本身的寫作幽默又嚴肅且新奇:作者用一種拼接的架構,引讀者搜尋“曆史資料”和信件、手稿、片段,展現這個令人驚奇故事。同時,在這些“資料”中我們也“聽”到瞭截然不同的聲音--和故事主題相當符閤的是,到底誰是可靠的敘述者?不變的、永遠有著掌控欲望的男人去講述女性的故事?還是這個獨立有反抗意識的女人?(劇透可恥,謎底就自己揭開吧)。最後,Gray對於大英帝國的曆史和政治事件的點評也是這書的點睛之筆。
