When Ashley procrastinates writing her school essay, she's caught up short: it's due tomorrow and she hasn't even started. Her friend Kelly says she's having her sister write hers. Ashley knows that's cheating, but what is she to do? After lights out, she finds her older brother's writing project in the trunk where their parents keep all their school papers. She starts to copy her brother's paper, which is about the time their honest babysitter returned some extra money Ashley's mother had accidentally given her. How can Ashley "steal" this essay? In the morning she gets up early and writes her own story. She doesn't get the grade she wanted, but at least it's honest, belonging only to her.
