评分2019.2.20，Scholastic。本册生词：wade，shove，piranha，jerk，bratty，beckon，thud。Actually, nothing was being mean. The army ants were just marching. That's what army ants do. The piranhas were just being piranhas. The snake was just being a snake. The crocodile was just being a crocodile. The jaguar was just taking care of her baby. 因为这一段，这是目前为止我觉得最好的一本。
评分2015.2.18-2.20故事比之前的要简单很多，所以页数也有所减少。但是结尾出现一个很有哲理的句子，对待那些可怕的动物跳出了“人本位”视角。在儿童文学中有如此难能可贵的实在是不简单。
