For ages 5-8. In this new addition to Pelican's 'Night Before Christmas' series, Santy's arrival by johnboat is announced by a ruckus between his pet racoon and Paw's coonhound, but all is soon put right in a whistle. After a feast of ham biscuits, Maw and Paw open their musical gifts, and Santy joins in on the frollicatin' before he must get on to the next stop. This parody of Clement Moore's 'A Visit from St Nicholas' is spiced with just the right amount of Ozark dialect.
