时间线逻辑什么的，真的不重要了。

圣诞在即，妻子因为工作不得不放弃同丈夫和两个孩子一起去公婆家过圣诞。但在后来通电话的时候，妻子发现电话竟然接通到了二十多年前丈夫的家……原来这并不是他们第一次在圣诞节分开，原来上次分开一周后丈夫突然现身来求婚，原来他们二十多年的婚姻并不完美，原来妻子发现缺失的那一个礼拜竟然在这一刻接通了，而且二十多年前的丈夫就是在这一通电话后才下定决心来求婚的…妻子不知道是不是应该劝丈夫放弃，还是应该继续；她也不知道这通电话会不会改变二十多年后的今天……

作者想出了一个有趣的题材，却没办法写出一个好故事。因为有所期待，阅读过程是愉悦的，但是读完令人大失所望，因为自己非常喜欢之前的四本书。这就像是没有修缮的初稿。已经红了出版社编辑对作品的要求就降低了么？

我天，这种层次还能拿GoodReads Best Fiction 2014!!!!买它简直就是浪费钱，读它简直就是浪费生命。整本书感觉像小学生写作文一样堆砌字数。毫无意义的对话，毫无逻辑的情节。简直不知道作者要表达什么，不知所云。也没看出作者文字功底有多好，连我这个非母语读者都快能一目十行了，也不是说文字简单就不好，但是这位作者的文字就是如白开水一般，完全没有品位的必要
