參軍的部分不是很有趣，時間綫彼此穿插有點亂。中間很多故事很不錯，作者真是喜歡狗，好幾個故事都很細膩感人，還是很齣色的，9分吧。

鄉土氣息很濃的一部作品

其實很怕看文革時期的記錄和鄉土文學，原因是太注重於苦，反而變成一種自我感動的東西，甚至是種變相裸奔（for me）//這本書真好看啊，遺憾童年沒有機會接觸，現在看溫柔敦厚的老牛和機靈古怪的小狗，就在想要是那時候能看到這本書，將會多有趣啊

看完之后，想了很多，其实那个时候的农场都有些低效，都是个人蓄养，完全靠自己的手艺，栅栏自己建，木棚自己搭，小牛犊生了病就很容易死掉，那些中毒的牛肉还能吃吗？一下子死了就是一大笔财产损失。以前看过一个纪录片，现在的农副产品企业化管理以后，一头头奶牛都是站在一...

一个个关于人或动物的小故事，温馨而又风趣，可以感受到作者对于生活细腻而又敏感的爱。虽然书中有些给动物做手术的情节，但却也一点都不血腥，我想这是源于作者出自内心的对自然动物的喜爱吧。很期待接着看其他万物有灵且美系列书籍。
