To lose, you will have to die. The victims are former beauty queens found with a single rose beside their bodies. Lindsay McAllister has seen this signature before, when she was a rookie detective with the Chattanooga PD investigating the death of Judd Walker's wife, a murder that sent the handsome lawyer off the deep end. It actually only deserves three stars, the extra star is for the time I spent on reading it. My gut instinct told me that it would be a detective novel when I bought it. Instead, it's a story about how a weathy man recover from losing his beloved wife to a brutal serial killer, and fall in love with a woman who have been taking care of him for 4yrs
