In a liberal society, judgment is always moral. I adore the ones who stay outside of it, but with hatred. Conformity keeps you away from the disturbing truth. I realize why I was so depressed the first time I read it, probably cuz I used to feel close to the edge. For the moment at least, I'd rather hold my curiosity back and be dumb.
