論閨蜜如何毀滅自己……最有趣其實是作者的寫作手法，前半部分過於explicit，高潮前後逐漸收斂，作者的結局淡化是最意想不到的，我的theory是為瞭加強主題關聯性和perpetuate conflict

上個學期讀這本書的時候剛好在上African American Literature，但這本書並不是課上指定讀的，而是我逛書店碰巧遇到的。感覺個人身份認同這個話題真的太fascinating瞭！作為一個在美國上學的亞洲人，也經常感到自己被夾雜在white和yellow之間，不知該如何搖擺

如果拿文學和藝術做一個平行比較，那這部作品就像一幅小型精緻油畫，內容具有深刻的曆史意義。幾個世紀以來，種族都是身份認可中很重要的成分之一。不過再扒開這一層，所有的人都是人。人們曾憤慨地拼命錶達這個觀點。或佯作輕鬆的拿這個觀點開玩笑。或以悲劇的方式證明這個觀點，比如這個故事。
