讀的是牛津版，本來以為會是“剩女的逆襲”，居然是大悲劇。擦，Edith Wharton 絕逼一後媽。Lily（活著的時候）和Selden 最後一次見麵看的我眼淚嘩嘩的。（果然是淚點低嗎？）像Selden這麼沒用和高姿態的男主角快點去死吧！

花了两天时间看完的，也就是了解了一个皮毛而已。而且放弃了看英文版，而看了翻译本，觉得挺别扭。估计少有人看女性作家的作品，更不要说时外国女作家了。全文也就是说了一个怨妇在一堆怨妇中挣扎的故事。要面子又没钱的那个怨妇活得很累，要面子又有钱的怨妇们活着跟死了一样...
