说起来会看这本《A Short History of The World》纯粹只是因为它是Kindle上的免费公版书。半个月前看的《永别了武器》的中文译本实在是翻译得惨不忍睹不忍直视不负责任，我是咬牙切齿一边吐槽翻译一边看完的。最终决定以后一定要尽量看原版书，毕竟真正认真负责又有水...

之前就有些奇怪，吴谢费的译本厚达943页，而二蔡的这个译本只有290页，目录也完全不同。书到手后才发现二蔡译本不是我想看的那本 The Outline of History（《世界史纲》），而是作者韦尔斯的另一本书 A Short History of the World（译作《世界简史》更合适？）。本书内容相...
