ON WEDNESDAY， APRIL 19， SHERMANCatalon arrived around 7:30 A.M. and parked inthe A level of the Murrah building garage as healways did. On his schedule was a meeting at 8:30in one of the offices on the north side with thebuilding manager and two others. Sherman wasthe assistartt building manager， responsible formaintaining the Alfred P. Murrah building andall the other federal buildings located in down-town Oklahoma City. They were meeting withthe district court clerk to talk about some reno-vations to the courthouse across the street to thesouth. "From the office where we met，" Shermanremembers， "we could look out at the traffic onFifth， the vehicles and the pedestrians.
