王政复辟时期的喜剧；城乡对立，前者是腐化堕落的象征；元戏剧（面具、假面舞会、意大利阉伶等隐喻）涉及彼时剧院的座位分配和相应的身份层级（pit，box，gallery），泄漏出反戏剧偏见（涉世未深的乡下少妻看完戏后迷上了伦敦的城市生活，追捧演员等等）；娶妻和娶嫁妆的对应关系，女性商品化；泰伦提乌斯的阉人原型；名誉含义的游移催生不少笑点（如Sparkish为自证心胸宽广，将未婚妻投送情敌怀抱等），并刺破上层社会的伪善；戴绿帽和瘟疫性病的譬喻。

总体来说还是蛮有趣的，不知道为什么我总是很容易喜欢那种出场没几次的人物，每次Quack出场我都会笑场，莫名被戳笑点啊哈哈哈哈
