I READ the whole book out ALOUD.
评分我看到瞭整個邊境，森林…,尚未開拓的領土，“宅地法案”的實施以及農民申領土地。
评分比上一本好，這本背景在明尼蘇達，明顯的環境要惡劣多瞭，沒之前那麼理想化或者說運氣好。中間對那個鑄鐵的爐子描述得太細節太精準瞭…另外對整個係列越靠後描述越有選擇性地詳細，對比第一本事無巨細地陳述尤其如此，可能是在暗示Laura的成長和知事。然而離滿分還是差一點說不明白的代入感。
