评分我的Eng1A老师，Sean Kim，布置了这本书作为那节课的主要课本，然而并没有感觉到是被逼着看，反而越看越觉得有道理。对这本书的印象非常的深刻，除了书的内容，还有就是看完这本书后写了20几页的scientific research paper，至今我还保留着那节课的资料。可能是受到启发，我还买了另外一本：《Cosmopolitanims》by Paulo lemos Horta, 但我觉得还是Appiah写的好。
评分开篇还清新果决，后来问题却并无什么纵深。大量穿插其间的逸闻和个人经历很意思，更像一本轻松随想类读物。（飞机读物？）
