【美】奎迈• 安东尼•阿皮亚是美国国家人文奖、普林斯顿大学人文科学特殊成就奖以及美国对外关系委员会亚瑟•罗斯图书奖、布兰迪斯大学新近设立的约瑟夫•B.与托比•吉特勒奖等重要学术奖项的获得者，他是美国笔会主席，又是劳伦斯•S.洛克菲勒大学的哲学教授和普林斯顿大学人类价值中心的哲学教授。他的著述包括：《世界主义》、《荣誉法则》、《在父亲的房子里：文化哲学里的非洲》、《神思：当代哲学导论》、《身份认同之伦理学》等。

【译者简介】

我的Eng1A老师，Sean Kim，布置了这本书作为那节课的主要课本，然而并没有感觉到是被逼着看，反而越看越觉得有道理。对这本书的印象非常的深刻，除了书的内容，还有就是看完这本书后写了20几页的scientific research paper，至今我还保留着那节课的资料。可能是受到启发，我还买了另外一本：《Cosmopolitanims》by Paulo lemos Horta, 但我觉得还是Appiah写的好。

内容挺好的，有些章节很有共鸣，比如第九章说到的“跨越边境的信奉者”，这一点，尤其在是近年，面对一些狭隘的民族主义境况时，可以联系世界主义者的原则，来考虑如何做会更合适，还是推荐一读。不过对“文化帝国主义”的批驳显得很局限，不够有说服力。整体还可以，就是翻译...
