【美】奎迈• 安东尼•阿皮亚是美国国家人文奖、普林斯顿大学人文科学特殊成就奖以及美国对外关系委员会亚瑟•罗斯图书奖、布兰迪斯大学新近设立的约瑟夫•B.与托比•吉特勒奖等重要学术奖项的获得者，他是美国笔会主席，又是劳伦斯•S.洛克菲勒大学的哲学教授和普林斯顿大学人类价值中心的哲学教授。他的著述包括：《世界主义》、《荣誉法则》、《在父亲的房子里：文化哲学里的非洲》、《神思：当代哲学导论》、《身份认同之伦理学》等。

【译者简介】

苗华建，供职于北京外国语大学日本学研究中心，迄今翻译作品十余部，代表性作品有《荣誉法则》、《信息崇拜》、《天空中的圆周率》、《淑女与熊猫》等。

直观解读，定见太重

我的Eng1A老师，Sean Kim，布置了这本书作为那节课的主要课本，然而并没有感觉到是被逼着看，反而越看越觉得有道理。对这本书的印象非常的深刻，除了书的内容，还有就是看完这本书后写了20几页的scientific research paper，至今我还保留着那节课的资料。可能是受到启发，我还买了另外一本：《Cosmopolitanims》by Paulo lemos Horta, 但我觉得还是Appiah写的好。

内容不错，只是翻译时有些不注意，造成低级错误，没有哲学背景，很多推论翻译不出准确的意思。举一个最荒唐的例子：46页“罗宾·彼得（Robbing Peter）向保罗付钱，这个策略至少能够保证保罗会积极地支持你。”robbing（rob，抢劫）居然翻译成了“罗宾”。以至于读不通了。类...
