著者簡介

著者

約翰•埃裏剋森，在劍橋大學聖約翰學院接受教育，1946—1949年服役於英國陸軍情報機構。他後來成為牛津大學聖安東尼學院的蘇聯軍事研究生，並在聖安德魯斯大學和曼徹斯特大學擔任講師。埃裏剋森還是印第安納大學、耶魯大學、德州農工大學和美國陸軍俄國研究所客座教授，後來在愛丁堡大學擔任教授和防務研究所主任。他撰寫過許多關於蘇聯陸軍的書籍和文章，還為《第二次世界大戰名將錄》（卡弗勛爵元帥主編）和《斯大林的將領》（哈羅德•舒剋曼主編）撰寫瞭蘇軍指揮員的簡介。

譯者

夏科峰，1980年齣生，浙江寜波人。軍事曆史愛好者，對二戰史以及武器裝備發展史多有研究，在軍事期刊上刊文數篇。
