If Mrs. Guinea had given me a ticket to Europe, or a round-the-world cruise, it wouldn't have made one scrap of difference to me, because wherever I sat – on the deck of a ship or at a street cafe in Paris or Bangkok – I would be sitting under the same glass bell jar, stewing in my own sour air.

not bad not bad. "To the person in the bell jar, blank and stopped as a dead baby, the world itself is the bad dream". 这句话讲的好符合一些时刻的心情！

这不是传统意义上的剧情小说，只是她自己真实的想法。灵魂被囚禁的现代女性，语言如诗般流畅和神经质。她的每一句话，也是我真实的感受。

关于《钟罩》的一点碎碎念 1 最让人佩服的是她恰到好处的控制力：在敏锐的超凡的感受力和日常庸俗思维轨道之间的平衡。她理解着这个世界（用自己的方式），批评、挖苦它和她/他们（以那时的她的身份，埃丝特的身份），也尽力展示自己的世界——以大多数人可以理解的眼光来回...
