深入浅出，非常适合初学者，尤其是编程初学者。实践中一些重要的工程性问题都有解答。不过对有编程经验的人来说有点墨迹。

这本书是能找到的讲as3语言最好的书了。国内那本殿堂之路对语言本身的叙述不够详细。话说看完这本书后我才发现as3可以和js一样有原型继承。。然后可以动态添加方法啥的。

对Event和DisplayObject细节的讲解比官方文档好，作为参考书合格。最后VirtualZoo的代码不错。但我更希望看到更大规模软件产品中对这些机制的合理运用以及带来的好处，而不是一些简单的sample code。

Flex入门之后, 开始读这本书(一年前), 最开始是读原版, 但是速度有些慢, 看到有翻译的卖, 于是又买了中文版, 速度是快了很多, 但是有些地方, 如Event那一张, 我费了很大劲才看懂. 首先这本书将ActionScript跟OO讲的很好. 1. 这本书稍微有些枯燥, 几乎没有配图 - 除了第20章, ...

我是08年再图书馆看到这本书。也行刚刚开始觉得书太厚，没有怎么看。后来教一批学生细细的看了一下，觉得里面的内容是很多书没有涉很深的。比如：安全沙盒，原生类型，命名空间，事件等等讲的很深入。我觉得这本书需要细细的品味，而不是觉得很简单很繁琐就不怎么读了...
