3 stars and half. An engaging novel, especially the book's premise will draw you in quite smoothly, a has-been model with a new face back to her old hometown meeting a 14 year old girl who bears the same name of hers and whose mother was once her best friend. but, it is too ambiitous, with too many characters and their connections left undiscovered

好像上以前考英语阅读时一样，细节单词都知道，整体要说什么搞不清。妙言警句层出不穷，故事情节引人入胜，只是在全书结尾时会忍不住说，"what's the FXXX?!"

叙述方式和表现主题对我朝来说算没新意的。。。我擦这么讲故事不免会想到搞个题记再sideA，sideB貌似一体两面的分述人物命运其实是骗骗人的中考一类卷，高考三类卷吧。。。
