這是一本以西式插花為案例的插花書籍。優點在於對於初學者有插花用具的實物圖片介紹，一目瞭然。也有對花器的寬容，瓶瓶罐罐都可以，比日式插花容易讓人接受。對花材的分類也很淺顯易懂，葉、主花、配花和點綴，即便有點不常見，眼前也能浮現齣見過的各種花花草草，心裏開始給它們分類瞭。這本書就是想讓花不拘一格的走進我們的生活。
