著者简介

Jason Matthews is a retired officer in CIA’s former Operations Directorate, now the National Clandestine Service. Over a thirty-three-year career he served in multiple overseas locations and engaged in clandestine collection of national security intelligence, specializing in denied area operations. Matthews conducted recruitment operations against Soviet-East European, East Asian, Middle Eastern, and Caribbean targets and, as Chief in various CIA Stations, managed covert action projects against the Weapons of Mass Destruction programs of the world’s Rogue States and collaborated with foreign liaison partners in counter terrorism operations. He lives in Southern California.

不知道是不是间谍小说太难啃，一句话要查好几次单词，一段话要看两遍，还没算上俄语和不熟悉的缩写。然后读完还有一堆没懂的地方，挫败！小说女主没有那么神，很少女，主线偏爱情，当然少不了间谍元素，比如展示神奇科技和小物件们。描写用词太多了，但对于学英语大概不算坏事。比起来，电影改编剧本不仅精炼了故事，还把高智商女主、正直男主与情报战紧密结合，最后的反转也非常高明，剧情比书籍上升一个层次。
