每天看一點，終於看完瞭這本書。閔安琪初到美國時的艱難、她的掙紮、她的堅毅和無畏讓我難忘，讓我流瞭幾次淚。她的不幸的婚姻，讓人看著難過，為她委屈。蔣奇榖真是對不起她的深情與隱忍，文藝青年嫁不得啊。她現在的丈夫我很喜歡，忠誠、可靠、愛她、理解她。希望她能像文尾寫得那樣，平安喜樂地生活。

是意義非凡的一本書啊，終於在9.15讀完，書中的故事可能不如現實更勵誌，但是是一個很好的範本。

I sympathize her experience, admire her toughness. But it really disgusted me when she chose not to call the police after she was raped by her roommate, got pregnant and was even strangled almost to death by the man who raped her. But after all, as a person who never experienced what she had experienced, who am I to judge her?

用於麵對自己的過去是我最佩服這本書的地方。書的後半段關於女兒的教育的筆墨讓人忍不住與Amy蔡對比，一二代移民的區彆顯而易見。八九十年代齣國的人可能會在書裏多些共鳴。我對她和她的書有共識有異議，我覺得移民們翻一翻都不錯。
