i've never felt so ungratified about the medium of a photo book. longing to see the seascapes in prints. "I was thinking about the earliest experiences of mankind, about the time when the first people named the world around them, and named the sea."

wax museum這兩個係列讓我聯想到“金蟬脫殼”。照片中的光照、蠟像周圍的實景布局，使照片擁有瞭完整的敘事性。但它又不是普遍意義上流動的真實，更像是我看到的，教學樓外牆上的蟬殼。具有神聖意味的光照和細緻入微的場景是“瞬間靜止”，亦真亦幻，我理解它的方式是將它看作對曆史中靜止的一瞬的模擬，但它又不是曆史和真實的贋品，更像是真實的側麵，和《dioramas》和書裏收錄的其他作品一樣，統統指嚮人類誕生的原風景。
