2004年dj shadow超長篇專訪，兒時生活，私人聆聽，與public enemy&james lavelle &dan the automator等人的私交往來，全盤托齣。活生生的柴靜專訪素材。shadow坦言97年之前沒接收過任何 mixing，engineering的培訓，一切自學，一切靠知覺。我靠，原來你也是侯孝賢，不知道什麼叫長鏡頭！

這本33 1/3相對來說是這個係列裏比較奇怪的一本瞭，前麵一大堆作者自言自語。DJ Shadow 雖然開創瞭新的「器樂嘻哈」時代，但用 Mike D. Errico 的話來說，他受的「教育」是上個時代留下來的，所以他還是不願意去談那些采樣的來源（另一方麵也是因為他用的采樣本身有很多都是非常晦澀的）。於是這本就成瞭一個漫長的訪談罷瞭。比較有用的信息來自 DJ Shadow 透露的一些關鍵唱片和麯子。Paris 的作用可真大！（笑）
