約翰•斯坦貝剋（John Steinbeck，1902—1968），美國作傢，1962年諾貝爾文學奬得主。一生共創作27部作品，代錶作包括《煎餅坪》（1935）、《人鼠之間》（1937）、《小紅馬》（1937）、《憤怒的葡萄》（1939）、《罐頭廠街》（1945）、《伊甸園之東》（1952）、《我們不滿的鼕天》（1961）等。其中《憤怒的葡萄》還獲得1939年的美國國傢圖書奬和1940年的普利策奬。
