如果之前对软件测试基本没有概念可以看看这本书，这本书有很多形象的比喻可以帮助想了解软件测试的读者形成一个基本的理念。但是这本书对很多的东西都是点到为止，没有什么深入的方法和实践，不介绍软件测试的工具。

这本书还行，作为初学者，如果想对软件测试有一个全面的了解，不想急于一头跳下去，可以先读读这本书。这本书只讲原理，简单的原理，然而越简单的便是越重要的。不过可能很多人会觉得看了半天原理，没有实作还是很不爽的感觉。
